Amy Ross

Boston-based artist Amy Ross was a religious studies major at Connecticut College and went on to earn a Master’s in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School before studying painting and printmaking at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Amy uses watercolor, collage, graphite, and walnut ink to produce works on paper as well as site-specific wall murals. She is interested in the idea of artist as mad scientist: combining flora and fauna to produce fantastical hybrid creatures, or “nature morphs.” Amy has shown her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in major cities throughout the United States.
